Head to Rockridge, following your golden trail or fast travel if you’ve been to Rockridge before. In Rockridge, your golden trail will lead up up a mountain side path, where you will encounter a couple of bandits, easily dispatched. You’ll be led off to the left over a small bridge to a statue. Next to that statue you will find a blue-white ghostly figure of the same gender as you (the quest acts differently based on your gender).
After speaking with the ghost and accepting the quest, fast travel or trek back to Bowerstone Market. Your golden trail will lead you to Alex, who will of the opposite gender as you.
Use your various expressions (one of the things given to you by the ghost will be an expression book from which you can learn the Seduce expression) to get Alex to like you a lot.
At this point, the quest divides into two possible choices:
- Evil Choice: Give Alex the rejection letter.
- Good Choice: Give Alex a ring, buy a house if you don’t already have one, and move in together.
Either way, head back to the ghost in Rockridge for your renown points.
